• Group meetings – regular and ad hoc. In addition to the general meetings which are attended by the country managers or the CEOs of the members, other groups such as the compliance officer, cash management and Basel III groups meet on a regular basis. Moreover, meetings are held whenever there is a common issue concerning members such as tax issue, Central Counterparty Clearing (CCP) & Trade Repository (TR), etc.
• The AIB served and continues to serves on committees established by various government agencies. The list of joint committees on which it currently serves includes:
  • The Board of Directors of the Thai Bond Market Association
  • The Joint BOT-AIB-TBA BAHTNET Advisory Committee
  • The Joint BOT-AIB-TBA Working Group to Promote e-Payment
  • The BOT Working Group on Standard e-Payment Messages
  • The National Anti-Corruption Commission Office Working Group on Asset Collecting and Analysis System (ACAS) 
  • The Electronic Transactions Development Agency Committee to Develop and Promote e-Invoice
• AIB members are regularly invited to participate in the hearings by various supervisory authorities such as the Bank of Thailand (BOT), the Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO), etc. and to provide input on proposed draft regulations and laws.
• At present, three sporting events, golf, tennis and bowling, are held each year to promote good fellowship among AIB members. To increase personal ties with the Bank of Thailand, the AIB invites senior management of the Bank of Thailand (BOT) to join the golf tournaments and the tennis events are competitions between the AIB team and the BOT team.
